I have returned!!!

Fri Feb 25, 2005, 12:28 PM
Hi all, I'm so glad to finally have the time to return to DA!! I have been really busy making and attempting to sell dolls through ebay and looking for a new job. I have been making a line of Lovecraftian style dolls and other fantasy pieces. You can see my most recent auctions at [link]
I'll be loading a few pieces here to for you to see. I have missed you all and am glad to be back. And a special thanks to those of you who checked on me through my website.

I just joined this - textilesalliance
I think it's run by :ShahrazadStrange: who posted here a little while ago, and although it's new it could be really good. How would you like to join too?

Thanks! I joined yesterday. It looks to be quite interesting.

Wow! Just snooping thru your gallery, you have some really funky stuff. Have you seen a book called Anatomy of a doll by Susanna Oroyan? I figure you'd like some of the stuff in there, it looks at the more wacky side of doll making as an expressive art rather than toys. Anyway amazing! It's nice to see some more sculptural textiles, I wish I'd seen your stuff before.
:iconlaurakane:
Thanks Rachel. I looked at your gallery too. I wish I could use a sewing machine better. You have some very nice work posted. I learned alot from the Oroyan books.

I wish I was better at 3D stuff! ;) I'm OK with flat stuff but then it starts to go wrong  not helpful as I did a degree in costume :) ahh well...keep up the good work :D
:iconlaurakane:
Thanks 3d is just practice and a good armature for my stuff. I don't understand patternmaking very well.
